Live Bliss

Needless to say, we have all felt and experienced inadequency in our lives. We let the stress of day to day life fog our otherwise cheery outlook.

Enough!

Life is good! It always has been, we just need to hone in on the positive. A little blog (or one of the Top 25 in the world), Zen Habits suggests solutions to declutter our minds and clear the negativity that we tend to hang on to. A great read, it's like your own personal life coach, and reminds you to smile, and keep it simple.

The Calgary stampede is coming. But I'm sure all the makeshift wooden fences popping up around the city this weekend gave that away.

Love it or hate it, it is undoubtedly a part of Calgary's identity! So...

Head to the Sled

If you're looking for something to do this weekend that will stimulate all your senses, Sled Island will satisfy. This annual music and arts festival started showcases a variety of musical, artistic, film, and comedic talent at different venues around Calgary. There's a little something for everyone, even some all ages shows! You can see their complete talent lineup and schedule on their website www.sledisland.com. Go quick, the festival's already begun and wraps up on June 25.

Go take in some tunes, and support a phenomenal, home-grown festival. We're all about the homegrown here at FABRICATED ;)

Rainy Day Blues... and Greens, and Yellows, and Red

Apparently the sun is calling it quits for the weekend, yet again, in our summer-deprived city. This brought to mind the following video by Burberry showcasing their Spring/Summer 2011 Capsule Collection (released in April, when we're supposed to expect this much rain... well, maybe in other cities).

We're Not Going Anywhere

We're baaaccckk! The last FABRICATED show this past April was such a huge success, it would be silly not to do it again... and again... and again! We know you are hungry for an authentic fashion scene in this young city, and we here at Fabricated are dedicated to helping that cause.
