Meet Dax

Meet Dax: Social Networking Manager

Dax is in charge of Fabricated's Twitter Account and works with KD to help spread the word about this season through social media networking.

If you haven't heard of Social Media sensation, Dax Justin, you are probably living under a cave. Dax is a well-known and recognized designer and director of brand experiences and have helped designed, lead and build identities for big time brands such as Dior, Original Joe's, Mark's, Office Max, Boston Pizza, Earl's and Toyota Scion. 

This graphic and identity design genius is also a Business Advisory Board member of SIFE Mount Royal, mobilizing students and their transition into the business world. Who else knows business and building your own brand but THE Dax Justin himself!

Everyday Dax channels his creative vision by working as the Design Executive Officer and the righ-brain at Ztarfish. He also started and is the Design Director of a progressive male fashion brand called Buckl which focuses on luxury yet functional male undergarments.

MEET SARAH

Meet Sarah: Designer Manager

Sarah is the one who deals with designers who want to take part in this season's Fabricated. 

At 22, Sarah has got a lot in her plate. This Calgary-raised gal started her love for art through performing arts particularly dance. With the creativeness flowing in her vein, she then moved on to her other love which is make-up and graduated with a diploma in Makeup Artistry from Artists Within School of Makeup. 

Today, Sarah is handling the booking and development contracts for one of Fabricated's sponsors which is Artist Group -- an artist and creative agency that brings all the people in the industry from photographers, models, make-up/hair stylists and the likes. 

We cannot wait to show you the line-up for this season's Fabricated and it's all thanks to Sarah!

MEET LIZ

Meet Liz: Set Designer

Liz is the one responsible for the overall set design of the runway and the venue. 

You know when they say there are no words to describe a person? Well, Liz Nandee is the exact opposite. In fact, there are so many words to describe this world renowned Interior Designer. Liz is the owner of Florida-based interior design firm called Basic Black Designs. With 8 years of experience under her belt, Liz's awesome talent and company were featured in several design showcases, events, functions, as well as for many charitable organizations and also appears regularly on TV, radio and web clips. 

She also founded the Design Association of Calgary (DAC) and created Designs 2 Desire which aims to focus on designs that are unique. Designs 2 Desire was such a hit that it soon after took the attention of web TV producers and is now an upcoming Calgary based web TV. 

If that is not enough, she is also a part time instructor at Mount Royal University for the Interior Decorating Program and is also the Design Editor and co-founder of State Tic, an international design + fashion magazine. 

When design meets fashion (as what Avenue entitled the 5-page spread they did for her), Liz is the person to call. She is not just an interior designer of residential and commercial space but she is also a runway/fashion event set/venue extraordinaire. Watch out how Liz transforms this year's Fabricated stage! We certainly cannot wait!

MEET ASHLEY

Meet Ashley: Volunteer Coordinator

Ashley is the one handling all our volunteers this season, making sure we get all the help we can get to make this show spectacular.

This Fashion Marketing student from Olds College is very promising. Ashley, who recently just moved from small town Red Deer to big city Calgary is not just any fashion student. In fact, she is the head coordinator of this year's Old College Fashion Marketing Fashion Show which will be happening this April 14. 

Watch out people, this Fashion student is about to knock your socks off when she graduates this year and takes on the bigger brighter fashion world!
